...See more Today, we are thrilled to interview @daydreammemories, a true cinephile with a profound appreciation for the art of filmmaking. In this interview, we delve into their favorite movies, their early experiences with cinema, and the films that have left a lasting impact on them. From the touching narrative of "Amour" to the thrill of mystery genres, @daydreammemories shares their cinematic journey and the movies and shows that have shaped their passion. Discover their top movie picks like "The Fault in Our Stars," "Grave of the Fireflies," and "Gone Girl," and hear why these films resonate with them. Learn about the first movie they watched alone, their favorite actors Emma Stone and Nicole Kidman, and the genres that keep them on the edge of their seat. Plus, find out which series they wish never ended and their thoughts on becoming a cinematographer. Get ready for an insightful and heartfelt conversation that offers a glimpse into the world of cinema through the eyes of @daydreammemories. Whether you're a fellow movie enthusiast or just looking for some great recommendations, this interview is a must-read. Enjoy! *🥁🥁🥁 The interview begins 🥁🥁🥁* What is your favorite movie? What did you like about it? I loved these movies: Amour, The Fault In Our Stars, Grave Of The Fireflies (anime), 3 idiots, Coco (animation), Gone Girl, and Then There Were None. I love their aesthetic, their story, and how they make me feel.  Do you remember what was the first movie you saw? Do you remember who you saw it with? I watched ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ alone. 😅 Have you ever seen a movie that was recommended to you here at 7 Cups? If so, which one was it? Not really, but I would love to hear some recommendations! Do you remember any movie that made you feel sentimental? What made you get like this? Amour had a pretty touching story, and I was and still am amazed by it! What was the movie you liked least? I honestly don’t remember, since I usually leave them in the middle of watching and can’t recall the names haha. But Brain On Fire was a movie I saw and thought it could do better.  Who is your favorite actor or actress? What movies does he/she appear in? On top of my head, Emma Stone and Nicole Kidman. The movies I liked from them were: Lalaland, Cruella, The Help, The Undoing, The Others, Big Little Lies.  When did you first feel attracted to the world of cinema? I started with watching movies randomly as doing something fun, but it started to grow on me as I saw some pretty good movies and series. I think that movie initially made me into watching movies and series as a hobby! What impresses you most about a movie? The story behind it, and the beginning and end of it. The flow of a movie and how all the events are put in such delicate order is what makes them interesting to me. What is your favorite type of movie? I love many genres, but my favorite would be thriller and mystery😄 What is your favorite show? Why is it your favorite one? My two favorite shows would be Modern Family and Friends. I also love the Korean series ‘It’s okay to not be okay’. They can really boost my mood at the end of a bad day! Have you ever wanted a series to never end? Which was the reason? Yes! Actually there are a lot. Sherlock, Modern Family, The Penthouse and The Good Place are among the top of the list.  Have you ever wanted to be an actor or actress? I have lol, that thought pops into my head everytime I watch a nice movie. Would you like to study something like this related to cinema in the future? What area would you choose? Well I chose my path previously, but if I ever want to, it would be being a cinematographer. I’m pretty good with cameras. 😁 Do you know or have you met someone important in the world of cinema? Not really, but I do hope so in the future. What is the latest serie/movie you are watching now? I’m currently rewatching hospital playlist, it’s quite nice and it gives me a really good vibe.✨ *🥁🥁🥁 The interview ends🥁🥁🥁* Thank you, @daydreammemories, for sharing your cinematic experiences and passions with us. ...See more Hiya delightful tv and movies community, how are we doing today?💛 I recently finished watching this show called Bridgerton on Netflix, after finally giving into all the hype about it hehe.  Still trying to fully formulate an opinion if I actually like-like it or not, so would like to hear from others as well.  For the most part, I think the show is great, and the hype is somewhere deserved hehe, but it was a slow-to grow on me kinda show for me, the first few episodes of every season, at least.😅 👑 If you've watched it already, how did you like it, overall? 👑 Out of the three seasons/ stories, which one stood out more for you? Because? 👑 Favorite character(s)? Because?  👑 Do you have any alternate endings or storylines in mind about it? (For instance, I would've really liked seeing Eloise's character being given more arc and space through the show)

The Track of the Eyelids: My Delusional Love Story

...See more I can't find a better than here on Cups to talk about this movie I work on. This movie is inspired by my mental illness and my experience with love delusion. I've been in pain for years because of my mental illness (schizophrenia) and a delusional love story I lived in my head.  I have been working on every aspect of the project. It was strange to me to start the project and enter the filmmaking field with zero experience. I changed the low-quality book I've written, including this story, to a feature film script. I reviewed the psychiatric plot with psychiatrists and psychologists besides the script reviews itself (structure and so on). I finished a business plan which was a great struggle to start one as I have never been into business before. Studying the plan was more joyful than other activities as the profit and the distribution plan. Deciding to distribute internationally and shooting in the USA while I'm located in Egypt is difficult as well, but I have the insistence to do so to reach a wider audience. Several documents I have worked on alone as film budget, business plan, script, pitch deck, as well as visuals like AI content, images, videos explaining the story, and voice acting, editing on software, generating AI images. Pitching to executive producers ad investors, asking for help and posting content all over social media, and paying for ads, it was a long journey for 18 months now :D When I showcase my work and count the achievements I have, I feel much relief and power to push forward. Right now I'm working on producing the movie with AI. It was fun! And my eyes dropped tears when I produced scenes that touched my heart. However, producing using software and editing is very tiring. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie one day on screens and hearing positive feedback :)

Click here [https://www.7cups.com/forum/siteupdates/EventsDiscussions_2666/August2024getinvolvedwithourlifechallengesevent_333814/] for more information! When life gets a little hard or when exhaustion hits, I find no better enjoyment than sitting down and binge watching a comfort TV show or movie. Something that pulls at all the right heart strings or something that reminds you of better times. This enjoyment is sometimes what gets us through the tough times! I remember when I was much younger going through school and finding things difficult, I often watched my favourite TV show (Waterloo Road) in the evening before bed to settle myself and give me the extra boost of confidence and energy to tackle the next challenge that came my way. What is your comfort TV show or movie? Something that makes you happy, comfortable or at ease. Bonus points for a description as to why it's your favourite!
