My story

Casscass October 29th, 2015

I wanted to share my story of what happened. I was 14 at the time on the way home on the school bus and I was ganged up on by a group of boys who sexually assaulted me. It traumatised me. Especially as I was so young as well. I thought that it couldn't last forever the trauma but it can. To this day I still have panic attacks and flashbacks and the fear it's going to happen again. The memory of being ganged up on and out numbered on the school bus and having everyone denie seeing it even though they did it will last forever for me. It won't make a difference being told it won't happen again. My story is small compared to others but for me its still a big deal.

Don't judge me please for having such a small insignificant event.

My dear @Casscass

Your story is as important as everyone's story I assure you. We all try to understand each and everyone's story so let me thank you for sharing yours.

I am finding your courage to share it here really amazing. I probably couldn't have done it. You inspired me today. :)

I am sure you are struggling a lot, I can only feel by how you are trying to minimize it, thinking it isn't as big as the trauma of other people who posted here. *big big hug*

Have you tried to connect with a listener to talk about this in private?

@cristiana33 Hello and thank you for the reply it means a lot and it is. Even though it was only 2013 when it happened but oh well. It is insignificant though. I was 13 when it happened and now I'm only 16. I messaged you with a little message too.

Thank you again

-hugs-

Oh sweetie, thank you so much for sharing this with us. I know you might think it's not much, but it means the world to me.

What happened to you was despicable, I'm raging at those awful excuses for human beings (no I am not going to take that back, they're awful). I can understand what you went through, and while I can't know how much it must hurt, I can relate. I know this is tough. Gruelling. Painful. And I'm so proud of you for fighting and being here, listening to people and helping them with their own lives. You are a true angel, Cassy. I am proud to know you.

You know I'm always just a PM away. I'm here for you. ❤

@Casscass

Hey sweetie!

I am aware that I got here a little late to the party, but if you will bear with me I would like to say some stuffies.

I think everyone has made it pretty clear how much we think what happened to you is a horrible thing to go through and is completely and utterly valid- so I am going to take a slightly different approach!

School buses suck. Legitimately suck. I was bullied and assaulted on school buses and now that I have heard what happened to you, I ban buses. No more buses. Or, maybe special buses for coolio people like you and me? And then the really run down ones for the awful excuses for human beings? (Skye said it well, and in true Skye fashion) I think that is what shall happen when we run the world.

What happened to you was not fair, it was so unfair and if you are ever feeling the need to rage about that - I am your gal. But also, if you need someone to comfort you, tell you silly stories, absolutely anything, I am here.

I am extremely proud of you for being able to share us, especially when you felt it was so minor. You are a wonderful human being and we all love you so much, thank you for helping so many people. You turned your pain to grace and that is an amazingly beautiful quality.

Stay great,

Rea 🐧

Ps. *sending tea, nutella, cuddles and warm blankets*

Thank you Rea -hugs- it doesn't matter that you were late :) all that matters is that people who think about it can see the impact that it has on people so they second think their actions that's all I ever want right now. No one should ever go through it its horrible and stays for life. Thanks for the hugs and support rea -hugs and again-
