EMDR

I have not felt an inkling of gladness in months but today I finally feel glad! After several months of EMDR today I' was finally ready to close the chapter on a childhood memory 🦋.
My response today to the memory was so radically different than at the start of this process.
I feel relieved. 🌻

That's wonderful, I'm so happy for you 🎉 🎉

I am really happy for you.

@anonyLemon4233  sorry the question is coming so late but it sounds like EMDR took several months to be effective for you? And you did not gradually improve but rather made a leap when it did work? Do you know if this is common? Working on it for awhile before you start to feel the impact?Â
I'd also ask what you thought about the treatment itself, what it was like: scary, peaceful, etc. if you don't mind. Thanks
