Break up, and PTSD

StupidGirl25 August 12th, 2023

I (F28) recently have gone through a breakup, I was shocked by it and I'm still very distressed. After reflection I realized I was in a very unhealthy relationship and I was treated very poorly. He knew I was planning to go to therapy this summer and also get a proper diagnoses. He left at a very fragile time for me. I'm struggling hard because this summer there was a lot of things I wanted to work through befor school starts up again, but the breakup has completely taken over. I also got diagnosed with PTSD due to trauma that has happened throughout my life. Everything just feels like such a mess

@StupidGirl25

I'm sorry to hear about your recent breakup and the distress it's causing you. It can be very difficult to navigate a breakup, especially if it was an unhealthy relationship and you were treated poorly. It's important to remember that you deserve to be treated with love, kindness, and respect, and it's okay to walk away from a relationship that doesn't align with those values.

🦁🌹I understand that you had a lot of plans for the summer, but it's important to prioritize your well-being during this time. It's okay to take a step back and focus on yourself, and to seek support from friends, family, or a therapist. It's also important to remember that you are not alone, and that there are many people who have been in similar situations and have found their way through.

🦁🌹I strongly encourage you to seek therapy and to focus on your mental health during this time. It's important to invest in yourself and to prioritize your own well-being. Remember that you are a strong, brave, and capable person, and that you have the inner strength to get through this. You deserve to be happy, loved, and valued, and it's important to remind yourself of that during this difficult time.

Love ♡ and Courage 🦁, Tas 🌹
