Beneath the Surface: Embers in the Dark (TW: Trauma)
In the silence of childhood’s tender grace,
Lies the echo of a forgotten place.
Where shadows lingered, and fears took flight,
In the depths of darkness, veiled from sight.
Tiny hands grasped, trembling with fright,
Through endless nights, seeking the light.
In the corridors of memory, whispers cried,
As innocence faltered, and hope nearly died.
The scars unseen, etched upon the soul,
Bearing the weight of secrets untold.
In the labyrinth of the mind, echoes remain,
A testament to resilience, amidst the pain.
In the labyrinth of youth, scars intertwine,
A web of pain, a legacy divine.
Through the passage of time, wounds may heal,
Yet the echoes of trauma, still can feel.
