On Healing and Spirituality - Hodgepodge style
I thought I would just start here... Maybe introduce myself a little...
It just feels so much safer to lurk around and see who and what places are safe. It's also feels safer to respond to people's posts rather than to draw attention and start one.
I ddin't want to put this under "Diary"... that just would feel very vulnerable...
I like the idea of a hodgepodge... that means it's undefined and really can be anything, anytime. It's not defined or delineated or limited, but can grow organically. I'm not sure what this thread is. It's just space to explore. Today is entry one...
How does a 1000 mile journey start... with step one... with post one. Done.
@Flowingstreams Welcome to the path of healing (: if your journey becomes overwhelming, send me a message. Till then, wishing you all strength and peace ^-^

Thanks so much for your very kind message! It made me smile! Good to be on this journey with others! Have an amazing day!
Today, I took a nice vacation from my brain and just thought about things I would like to accomplish for today. Nice physical tasks that I could finish in a day!
I vaccumed the lower level of my house and cleaned for a bit. It was much nicer than getting lost in all my thoughts and fears! Recovery day #1, got to start somewhere!
Thanks so much for your post and for saying hi!
@Flowingstreams Keeping yourself moving, even if it's just to brush your teeth or wipe off a table, is a wonderful way to calm yourself. Keep it up, streams!

Thanks so much for your kind words! They really came at the perfect timing. Was in a place not really able to respond and feeling somewhat down on myself and glum... Then I saw your very kind post and smiled. Didn't really know what to say. I am just moved by your kindness! Yes! It is a day-- to celebrate all the tiny steps... like getting out of bed, making food, trying to do my job best I can... and making an effort to make a difference in the day! Have been sick, and I guess it makes it hard to give...or be my best when feeling sick...
Guess the first thing on the "to do" list is self care then! Soup, lots of liquid, vitamin C! Rest! Then when I am better my best will be better! :)
Thanks again!
