I have already left the abusive situation, but I still have contact with them which scares me often.

One of my goals this week is too call the national domestic abuse helpline and talk to them about it. I tried calling, but I got scared and hung up. However, I guess that's a start. It's left me feeling quite teary though, because I don't like to think of it as abuse, even though that's why I left him.

One of my other goals, for next week, is to try to go talk to citizan's advice about my situation; and because I am quite worried about how I will be able to have enough money to live on, and how to support myself if I cut off all contact. Plus how to move on from this when I don't have any off-line friends because he isolated me so much.

@sweetMelody95 thank you for checking in! I'm sorry to hear that the abusive situation and being in contact with them still scares you and is impacting you so much. It is great to hear that you are setting goals for yourself that will hopefully help to move you forward and help you gain more independence. I hope that you'll let us know how the week goes and how you do with your goals.
