Psychotherapists are professionals who need to be paid, so any free service requires funding—for example, from government or from charitable donations. So in some places you can get free therapy from a government agency, and in some places you can get free therapy from a charity.
You can often find out what's available to you locally by asking your doctor. Alternatively, contact some local therapists to find out whether they know of any free services.
