Expert 7 Cups Therapy Cost
Hello,
Im looking into having online therapy with a licensed psychiatrist, therapist, psyhotherapist, etc.. how much does it cost to use the expert online therapy here on 7 cups?
Also, if anyone has any opinions on whether its worth paying, worth doing, whether it worked for you? I would love to hear those
Many Thanks π
@littlelegs56 There is some information here: Online Therapy, and here: Help Center.
The cost is $150 (USD) a month.
For some information to help you decide whether it is worth paying, maybe go to Search Therapists and read some of the feedback in the therapists' profiles. Keep in mind that negative comments will not have been published there, so the ones you see are the best. Then compare what you've read with what you are hoping to get from therapy.

It feels...really wrong to me that a paid service in particular is hiding negative feedback. Seems like I'd want to know what the general negative experiences tend to be before investing that much money into talking to someone im supposed to trust. I don't even take a class without checking with rate my professor first
@radiantfox if you try the therapy service and are unhappy with the therapist you receive, you can write to support@7cups.com by email, no message, and they will address that issue.
If you have further questions, feel free to send me a message www.7cupc.com/@soulsings
@radiantfox It sounds like you're maybe looking for a comparison with other online therapy sites. Comparisons are pretty easy to find by searching the Internet for something like: best online therapy sites.
Not all of the review sites include 7 Cups, though. For example, Best Online Therapy Of 2022 at Forbes Health doesn't include 7 Cups in its top 10, but there is a separate, and detailed, 7 Cups Online Therapy Review, which includes some information about the general negative experiences.
Comparing individual therapists is more difficult, and I don't know any reliable way to do that. Unfortunately this can mean that finding a therapist who is a good fit can involve some trial and error.

@littlelegs56 Here is an answer Lisa, director of therapy shared about the advantages of online therapy at 7cups
"Welcome to 7 Cups! Thank you for your question. The responses are 1-2 times per day Monday - Friday and the real benefits of online therapy at 7 Cups is that you can get the support when you need it. You do not have to wait for a timeslot in the week to discuss what is on your mind with your therapist. No waiting times, no waiting rooms, and support whenever you need it as your therapist will respond with a thoughtful response 1-2 times a day on weekdays.
There are some things to consider when choosing a therapist such as "Do
they specialize in the area in which I am challenged?" Having someone
that specializes in a particular area of mental health related to you
can make a difference. "Are there support groups that could help give me
more support?" Sometimes people expect the therapist to do all our
support. A lot of support is up to us and how we structure our life
outside therapy sessions. The therapist is like a conductor in an
orchestra. We must play the instruments to make music.
We are also available at support@7cups.com if you have any other questions."
Hope you get the support you are looking for.
Thank you for helping me with this information π€ x
