Today, I had a very long telephone conversation with my best friend overseas as well as with an acquaintance here. It was quite pleasant. I also did a longer yoga session.

@AshleyNFlewellenLPC Sunday is a reset day!??? Cool, I'm gonna sleep all day.. Oh wait it's Monday🙁😮😧😩😩😩😩😩 can I just pretend it's sunday????

Many, Many years ago,(in the 1990s) I used to use Sunday's as a rest/reset day, and did a lot of the things on that list...that is how my parents raised me....what we used to do.....something I carried into adulthood with me......Then I got a job where I had to work on Sundays and it just became another day in the life.....I never took any of my new regular weekly days off and applied those things I would do on Sunday to that day...it was, of course, in the middle of the week and most of my friends and family were working...I would use the days to start new projects, accomplish household chores that ended up lacking due to work and it seemed like I never really got "days off" because something always needed doing or catching up on......26 years later, I was finally able to have Sunday off again....but....I continued with the routine that I was in and never actually went back to rest/reset.....I think I will start to go back to that....thanks for the post and the idea.....
