Can you share some useful ways to cheer yourself up?

One of my tip is to do grocery shopping. I really like preparing food for the week.

@Wallis Thank you for your lovely post! Preparing food for the week via grocery shopping sounds like a really nice way to cheer yourself!Ā

One way I tend to do this is by walking in the garden. Just experiencing the sights and sounds of nature naturally boosts my mood. šŸ’“Ā

@GentleHealingInitiativeĀ

Hi Gentle! That's a good idea. I don't have any private gardens, but there is a small park nearby. If I own a garden it would be interesting to walk around and see how the plants are growing. Thanks again for your sharing!

@WallisĀ  It's not the best but going to stores or a store and buying myself something even though at times I know I shouldn't be, something about it feels fulfilling for some reason

@Wallis It really depends on what has me down. I usually go for a walk or if I am home then I'll have some water and knit.Ā  Sometimes a hot shower helps too with a deep hair conditioner.Ā

For me i just sit with myself and depending on the case, but i make a joke out of the situation. In other words i ā€œtake the edge off of itā€. This helps me stay in control of the situation and remind myself that no matter what, life goes on šŸ˜Š

I make myself a hot drink. Can be any sort of herbal tea, milk or hot chocolate. Cooking also makes me happy. Especially when I do it for myself. Spending time in nature, going for a walk. Or just looking at the sky helps me relax my nerves in the middle of a stressful day. My immediate mood booster is sometimes a workout as well. One thing I always avoid while having a bad day is my phone.
