@CeceLawyer

Nice to meet you here in the forum CeceLawyer!

Studying abroad can make one feel lonely as many things might be different. Have you given any thought to joining clubs or associations centered around your hobbies?

Meeting other people in your physical life who have similar interests can help to feel more connected and also offer the opportunity to make friends.

7cups has a student & career support community, you can find it here https://www.7cups.com/home/

You can always connect to a listener for a 1:1 chat. This is a link which leads you to listeners who are experienced with student life https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/?badge=&find=&sort=&ageGroup=&listType=&country=&category=39&gender=&language=

Please do not hesitate to send me a message (just click on my profile picture) if you need any resources or have a question. I am happy to help.

May I ask what you are studying?

Those are great ideas @amiablepeace77

Study groups can be amazing as well as student groups centred around your hobbies and perhaps even where you are originally from if they have those. We are glad you reached out here at 7 Cups, you're not alone here.

I think going out and making new friends really helps. Networking with like minded individuals is also a great way to step out, get out of your comfort zone and expand your horizon thereby, seeking new opportunities both in personal and professional life.
