Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by your workload and that you are putting in too many hours?

Companies don't really have remedies for the widespread issues of burnout and overwork. Therefore, it is our responsibility to learn how to care for ourselves while still producing good work.

What are the warning signs of burnout?

I begin to feel my heart beat faster when tensing up on things. I get nervouse and can not think straight when stressing out. 

How are you preventing burnout while maintaining productivity? 

I will take 10- 15 minutes and either sit yoga style or open my shop window to allow the airto come in and meditate

PS: When I saw the word “companies” I guessed you meant job work but prior to that when I saw “workload” I thought you meant any work 😂 

What are the warning signs of burnout?

Feeling out of it, exhausted, fatigued, drained, typically all of these are in a mental sense but sometimes it can be physically or even both too. 

How are you preventing burnout while maintaining productivity?

The thought of it’ll end/won’t be forever, writing it down, singing, yoga, going out for a walk, from the start of my break till it ends :)

Those are good things to do so you feel better and can re-energize! For me yoga is particularly helpful since it creates calm and peace inside.

I am the definition of burnout. LOL. 72 hours a week is just too much for this old guy
