My first day and my last hope
Last night I quit meth. I had to have my husband who is thinking of divorcing me watch me and help me dump my stash. Today Im not doing good and all I am thinking is this is going to kill me but god I am so scared. I lost my happiness and health to this beast but keep thinking that I should just get more.
I lost my family and friends and what did I catch myself doing?? Looking for my dealers number to get more.
What the hell is wrong with me
@PunkyBrewster83 Hi Punky, I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling. I can't imagine how things are with you especially regarding your relationships. It is quite shocking how a single substance can impact one's life. Addiction can be like a trap, one we may not realize we are in for awhile. How have you been coping lately? I've seen you posting around lately, so I hope you are finding some help so far. Let us know if we can provide any support/resources/etc. for you. Also, feel free to check out the relationships subcommunity here.
Best wishes, and I know you will pull through; you are stronger than you think. :) *sending you positive vibes*

@PunkyBrewster83 Lovely to hear from you! You are most welcome. Congrats on staying clean for over 6 months; that is a remarkable feat. Indeed, recovery can be tedious. I
Hi, I was clean for just over 6 months, not quite managing to get my life together and I live with my mum and troubled teenager I relapsed for a couple of reasons as well as being weak. I am finding it difficult to stop again and was wondering do you work? I don't. And what kinds if things did/do you do to fight urges and stay clean ???
Atm not being able to get some proper stuff is difficult and so is doing anything else but sleep, eat repeat type of routine. I'm finding it hard to just function unfortunately š
@PunkyBrewster83 The first few days and the first few weeks are absolutely nightmares. All you can do,as someone who came cold turkey off of this evil,is to take it one second, minute, hour and day at a time. Every day you wake up clean is a victory, and occasion to celebrate. If you need anything or anyone to talk to you know we are here... We will all get through this together
wishing all the best for youā¤ļø

Welcome to 7 cups! No one ever said quitting meth was easy road. In fact, I find it as hardest substance to come off from. But I also have seen many who became sober sucessfully over time. Binge for days and crash for twice as long. Does that sound like anything you've done in the past? First step is to build your motivation and I see that you have it and you also have a supporter who cares. You're in the right track! Good luck and keep us posted.
Hey,congrats!
Iām very happy you were able to take on such a herculean effort and get out of doing such a bad thing, you are great for having left such a horrible thing, no one can deny how bad drugs are.
Think about all the great things you have in life and how important they are, think about how you matter to people and they just donāt want to be hurt by seeing you hurt yourself.
Try eating healthy and practicing self-love, you matter and this is now behind you, you took the biggest step, so keep running.
No one else can where your awesome shoes, keep it up!
Ice is all that is evil and you can win this fight. It will get easier I promise, keep strong and donāt loose sight of what matters most. This is the hardest fight you will ever face but it is achievable, donāt get lost in the cycle. Iām so sorry for your pain but the best is yet to come, you are brave and so deserving of a better reality
