Rejection is NOT a reflection of you!
This last month, I've had the humbling experience of being rejected by several master's programmes that I applied to.
I won't lie, it was sad, disappointing, and disheartening - and that's okay! It's normal to feel upset about an unsuccessful application. However, it's not normal to blame yourself for an outcome that is out of your control.
This is a reminder that your personal value doesn't depend on your academic successes, and that a rejection will most likely not ruin your life - you will be okay, and you are worth more than the academic programme you get into ❤️.
Good luck to all my fellow besties who are going through the university application process right now, everything will turn out the way it's supposed to 🥰.
Such a thoughtful message! Thankyouu for sharing, @winterseb, more power to you as well to continue doing your best and pushing forward! ❤
A very positive post! Having applications rejected is very sad indeed, but you are right, it isn't the end of the world! We must learn to keep moving forward, this one rejection is only a very tiny bit of our lives. Every obstacle we ever run into, is a lesson learned. Whether that be for personal growth or how we manage our emotions.
Good luck with your continual applications to a Master's Program~
