How do you survive your school/college life?
There are lots of people around that enjoy getting tips and helpful hints about school/college. So, I thought that I would start a post where everyone can share their tips and tricks that help them get through the work, stress, teachers, friends and other things that may come up in your day-to-day life.
As everyone copes with things differently, this is merely an opportunity to share how you get/got through it all and potentially suggest how others can help themselves.
Finally, the most important thing about this forum thread is to help and have fun.
studying is really important. I know it sounds lame, but you don't want to go to college and not get that degree. It's a waste of money, whoever's is paying for it. Also, office hours! They are super helpful, and that's what the professors are there for, to help you with any questions.

For example, if someone said a particular course was tough, I wouldn't take it because I thought if that person couldn't make it, I couldn't either. For some reason I always thought of myself as "stupider than the people around me" and limited myself using other people's opinions. I should have trusted my own decisions.
Also, I've almost never turned down an invitation to go to a party or join a band or a club. Although unexpected new experiences and relationships did come out of it, time is limited, sometimes I wish I'd have done a little more of the things I'd wanted to do.
So I guess my advice would be to know that there is a limit to your time but not your possibilities.
The biggest tip I have for surviving college (as cliche` as it is) is good organization! Being able to schedule and divide your time effectively will be so beneficial for both your personal, academic, and social life!
By balancing the time i have. Mostly focusing on the school work and reminding myself that once summer comes then im free to do whatever i want!
