Happy 9th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to you all!
Here are some things I love about all of you and our community.
-When we champion one another!
-The joy I feel in reading positive listener and group reviews.
-When someone drops by and lets me know how a listener, group, or path helped them.
These things happen a lot and they are a natural byproduct of the work that you all do. You don’t aim to get kudos, good reviews, or have others say how much you have helped them. It just naturally happens. Members, Listeners, Leaders, Therapists - everyone helping one another out. It is beautiful to see.
I think about our community about 20x a day. The community is one of the first things on my mind when I wake up in the morning and all of you are in my thoughts as I go to sleep.
The work we do is more important than it has ever been. There is so much tumult in the world right now. We all need a safe haven. You have all created one for us here at 7 Cups. It is like a big national park with climbing trails, trees, and meadows. You can take time alone, hike with a friend, or scale a mountain with a group.
On days like today, I like to challenge myself to look at our collective work with fresh eyes. That 7 Cups exists on the Internet and works as well as it does is nothing short of miraculous. We have plenty of things to do better and that will always be the case. However, even with our challenges, we have pulled together and created a Haven on the Internet - a place where people are not usually too kind to one another - and I believe that is remarkable.
I look forward to another year of working alongside all of you.

Heya 🤗 thank you for creating this platform, 7Cups Family ❤️. I didn't expect it's been a year since i started here. I never regret each days that i am here. One thing that i only regret is that why i am so late coming here. I wished I was here before when I'm still 18 below. I had a lot of things to say but millions of words needed to express it 🤗❤️. So i would like to emphasize, Happy Birthday to 7Cups 🤗❤️. Thank you Sir Glen for everything 😊. Can I call you Dad? Hehhehe you are like a second Dad of everyone here, 7Cups family—fammemlisteners 🤗❤️.

Well. well. precious one. I'm a woman, 69 years old - so I don't think I'll call Glen "my father". But he can be a fatherfigure for many other persons here - ha.ha.
@Feelicity08 I like that word family. Many of us did not grow up in the best families or we've had broken homes. @heather225 calls it "found family" and I think that is a nice way of saying it.
I'm glad you found us when you did! Sometimes things evolve at the right time even when we can't all the way see the reasoning behind it. Glad you are here and thank you for sharing your art work ✨

Aww @GlenM i didn't expect it, does it mean we can call you now as a dad? Yay! Perhaps dad this 7Cups becomes like a family and I called it as fammemlisteners (family+members+listeners), sounds cool dad right. Well in fact we are not family by blood but still we are family by heart. It was so nice to be here dad. This becomes like a place to feel comfort, a right time to speak at the same time a right time to listen. I'm intensely grateful to be part of this family after all. Anyways Yay! I'm glad to know you check my artworks dad. Hi Dad, could you send my regards to my mom and my siblings out there, massive thanks ☺️. Thanks for creating this family Dad. A woman (46) in sharing-circle just shared how 7Cup helped her and that her b.f. just proposed to her to get married. Another (earlier drug-/alcohol-addict) tells how sc help him not to be in depression (therapists could not help him he says).

I am out of words. This is so heart warming.
I see Glen's message and every one else's reply on it and i'm like wow! I feel honoured to be a part of this community. I so want to to encourage the newbie Listeners to give their best and make this place a safe haven for those reaching out to 7 Cups for help. I have been a listener (now a verified one) for a while and i must say that never in my life i have received so much affection, support and encouragement the way i have received from the Listener community here.
Like i said i have nothing but love and gratitude for the creators, management and members/listener of 7 Cups.

I’m so happy i was able to be here to celebrate the 9th year of 7cups. Thank you for creating the idea of 7cups Glen, I am thankful it exists as this is honestly my Favourite support place. It’s like support 24/7 and I love the fact I have made so many incredible friends (and stole an incredible amount of cookies 😆). I cannot wait till next year for the big 1 0. Hopefully next year I’ll be able to attend the party, as i was asleep for this year’s (as i had work the next day) 😔 anyways *holds my cup of hot chocolate up with small dino paws* cheers 7cups ☕️ Happy birthday! Can’t wait to see what the future holds 😊 and I definitely cannot wait to see what future friendships i make. You are all wonderful, you are all loved, and I Appreciate You All.
