Review 7 Cups app and earn the iGrow badge!
Hi everyone, When people look for help on the Web, they normally search for things like "I need someone to talk to" or "depression chat" in Google. Google then points them to 7 cups and we are able to help them. The Apple app store or Google Play store, unfortunately, does not do the same. It has a search box, but it is harder for people to find us there. One way we can help them find us and get help on 7 Cups is by providing a steady stream of reviews in the Google play store and Apple app store. In short, helping people through the app store is considerably harder than helping people on Google.
How can we make it easier for people to find us? The more reviews we add each week, the easier it is for people to find us. Towards that end, we've created a new badge for anyone that provides a review in the Google play store or Apple app store. It is called iGrow.
How do you get the badge? Simply leave us a review on either Google play or App store (depending upon whether you have an android or apple device) and then post here in this thread and we'll award the badge to you.

I did a review a few weeks ago and I didn't know about this badge... Never received one anyway. Doesn't matter though, 7COT have helped me far better than I ever expected, it's not about badges it's about getting better.😊
Er never mind... I've automatically got one now... Wish that could happen with money! I wish for a thousand pounds... ..... .... Nope nothing, oh well! :3
Done. This app has helped a lot already and I haven't had it long at all.
I love this app! After being in traditional therapy for a year 2x a week, i took a year off. My depression and anxiety worsened and i was looking for some kind of talk hotline and im so glad i found this! Its convient as when i have a specific problem i can talk to someone right as its happening rather than having to wait 1 week to tell my therapist everything that happened during the week in 1 hours time. I like that i can group chat with othera and getting thoughts from multiple people helps. It makes you certain that you are not alone. Thank you so much for making this, i think this is the best app I've ever had!
I really love the idea of having someone to talk to right at your fingertips. There are a few aspects about the app I would make a little more like the website. For example you cannot access your public profile through the app if you wanted to see it. I would make more options on the app. Overall though it is easy to use and organized. :)
I honestly love this app. You can talk about anything that is bothering you without having to tell people that you see on a daily basis.
I love the app. I use it all the time.
The app is convenient and functional for the most part. But in the iPhone version there is an issue when typing in forums. Do NOT hit the return button in your phones keyboard or it screws everything up and you need to start over like I just did while typing this. Lol.
I've just reviewed the app, I find it very useful for me
I've only been using the app on my iPhone 5 for a few days and I'm impressed that I can speak with a actually live person. However...
• While typing this thread, the other reviews on her are blocking my view and I can not see what I'm typing and when I try to move my cursor to a section where I need to change a word/typo, the screen freezes. Which has forced me to write my review in my 'notes' of my iPhone.
• It seems there is a vast majority of tools to use on your website rather than the app. Such as notes/gratitude journal, update on your member progress, options on where you can gain more points.
• I found a member that I truly felt connected with but I am unable to chat 1-on-1 with other members. Can we chat with Both members and listeners?
• I am a 30 year old woman and I know there are people who are trained to speak w 'over 18' members, but I thought it maybe be nice if there were age groups instead of 'over 18.' We could search for those listeners/members in the search menu. Certain age groups go through some things that a 19 year old may not relate. I am not saying to block out anyone. But 'teens' have a specific age range, say 10 years, while 'over 18,' has a lot more time span.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thread. I've already suggested this to two of my friends. Cheers!
