Hello, my name is Samantha. I like your sign, what does it mean to you?
hello there
@Guidingprincess26 Hey :) Welcome to 7 Cups. It's nice meeting you here.
Hello everyone, I am here to get a better understanding of empathy and help listen to people who are going through struggles that I have also gone through.
Hi everyone ! I am a new trained listener here. I am looking forward to help listen and provide empathy.
@Tirth443
welcome
Hi, completely new to this. Suffering terrible bout of anxiety at min. Thought had it under control and had gotten better but lockdown shredded my confidence again. started 4/5 years ago after a tough time made not better by embarrassing drink fuelled weekend and is getting out of hand at times. Don’t want to be around most people, lost a lot of trust in people. Joined to chat with other people who experience similar things and realise not on own with this!

What you have gone through sounds like so much to deal with. We all hope you find the support you deserve. You should be so proud that you made the first step towards recovery by reaching out on 7 cups:)
Hello, I am glad to be here to help people through listening. I am looking forward to becoming a better listener as well :D
@Hope

Hi, I'm new here. My name is Zee-which is a lot different from my birthname. I'm non-binary and my pronouns are he/him. I'm going to be 20 next year and I'm a college student from an art school. I'm trying to seek professional help but I can't afford it yet because of my current occupational status and I can't really find a job or even employ for a job because I have troubles with managing my time. I really look forward to learn from this group so that I could grow as an individual.
There’s just been a horrible string of events that have unfolded over the last 2.5months. My best friend died in a drowning accident in late July. My dad committed suicide and his body was found on august 27th. When I got back from taking care of his affairs (by myself) my car broke down. I had to spend all my savings for the business I was going to start to make sure his final wishes were taken care of and help pay to fix my car. Then I got raped
I’ve been in therapy for 15+ years. I literally have no one to talk to as my therapist is gone on vacation for the next 3 weeks. I have no friends or family support. I’m drowning in debt and now I’m scared that when I was raped last week he may have given me an std…. 🤷🏻♀️
Call me Haley, I turn 26 next Tuesday. I’d rather just listen to other people then talk about my “problems”
