@Hope I'm a member and I've been feeling depressed and having panick attack up and down for a while now. Everyone keeps telling me that i should seek professional help but I am unable to visit phsyciatrists and have booked meeting due to reasons to why my depression got worse. I often feel numb and I want to learn to control and understand my feelings.
New listener here. Well not really, I was a listener some years ago but a lot of other things was taking up my time and I was just starting out therapy. So I left but now I'm back, more in tune with myself. Through dealing with my own problems, I now feel more equipped to be a good listener and to be able to use the things I have learned to help someone else.
Also, I started out as a member here from the beginning. It was my go to place for support before I got my therapy. This place inspires me to always be better. That there is light in the dark. Getting to be a listener is such a privilege and I am grateful for you who share so honest and brave and let us listeners be a part of your journey ❤

@Hope Hi there! My name is Sanjana, and I'm here as a Listener to offer people support on college/student life and all related problems (sleep management, relationships, work stress). I feel like having a lot of experience in this field can help me better understand members and ask the right questions or offer the right type of support for them to feel heard and have clarity on what to do. With the whole pandemic going on right now, I know how rough life must be for people, and if they want to reach out for help I'll gladly lend them a listening ear.

I'm a new member here. I joined here so I can look for other trans people that I can relate with and maybe help? I would also love advice to help my dysphoria, I would also love to become a listener and help other transgender people, but I don't know if there are any requirments to be a listener..
There isn't many trans people out there, so I want to be able to help them and tell them they aren't alone. :)

Hi there. I joined in 7 cups and became a listener today. I want to help people go through their dark times and try to do that although sometimes I am not sure. I didn't experience much but I know someone in the world is tough. I hope the communication can give both of us enough brave to face challenges in reality.

@Hope I'm a member and I'm looking for help to move forward. I feel stuck in all areas of my life - trapped in a relationship that is going nowhere, stuck at home with my parents, stuck in a job I hate... just stuck. I feel so depressed, but every time I try to sit down and figure out a plan, the prospect feels so huge and overwhelming that I get crippling anxiety and do anything to distract myself and avoid thinking about it.
I wish I had a reset button!

hi! I completely understand how you feel and feeling stuck. it feels so frustrating and difficult when you can't escape it. you are never alone. we are all here for you and will give you all of the support and love you deserve.
Hello! I'm a new listener and after having a few chats, I can confidently say that I love being part of this community. I feel so happy and overjoyed when someone says "thank you, you really helped me". It is indescribable and I'm so thankful to be part of this. :)
