App: Issue with Forum Replies
I've been noticing it quite a lot recently, where people are replying to me in the forums but it does not include my username tag, therefore I do not get a notification that someone has replied to me. I would only ever have known if I just happened to check, or if I subscribed to the thread as a whole. Because this was happening so frequently, I downloaded the app to see if that was the issue, and it is.
When someone directly replies in the forums using the app, it does not automatically put the person's username tag in the reply, like it does on the desktop site. I think this is a big issue for the forums, because many messages may be missed if the person doesn't know they ever got a reply.
I'm also suspicious that sometimes you direct reply to someone but it does not connect it as a reply, but instead just acts as a regular post on the thread (as in shows at the bottom, not right below and connected to the post being replied to). Unconfirmed, but it seems that way sometimes.
Please put this function into the app, I'll submit a support ticket as well but also thought it would be good to bring up in the forums in case others have noticed the issue, or not noticed and missed some replies.
Hey @TaranWanderer , great suggestion ! I've experienced the same also. Would be great to include tags always ! 😊
Another thing I've noticed about the forums by having the app is that the push notifications tell you who upvoted your post, which is something I believe has always been anonymous before! Don't think I like that very much
Thank you Wander for the feedback. I will forward this to our Subcommunity Leadership Team who I will also tag so there aware as well.

I have definitely noticed that on the app.
@HopieRemi I've found a lot of limitations with the app since downloading it :P I find this one in particular a bit annoying since now I find myself subscribing to every thread I reply to just so I don't miss a reply!
@TaranWanderer
Yeah I feel that. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
