how long have you been self harm free? (possible trigger warning: SH)
I've seen this sort of thing on a couple of other sites.
It's to put your accomplishments, relapses or anything you want it to be
you could post every day if you need to or once a month, no accomplishments too small.
and if you relapse, you are strong. and you can do this.
I will try get back to as many people as I can and if you need message me on here.
if this doesn't work oh well, but id like to see it work.
Hope you are liking all the cute cat pictures! [v] here is your next clue, where can you introduce yourself if you're new to the subcommunity this month?
3 days because of a relapse but I'm working towards full recovery.
about one and a half months (:
Sadly 0 days but maybe I'll get there one day :)
It's okay same here.
You can do it! You will get there and you will feel great!
I am at 0 days myself. You aren't alone. It would be nice to talk to someone who understands this battle.
2 days
6 hours clean
6 hours clean
@Cherryblues 6 hours is great! Any time without self harming is great! Even if it's just 5 minutes, it's still good. You don't need to self harm, you can do other things instead. Do anything you love or like doing. Anything to pass the time and get your mind off things. Anything at all. Talk to someone on here if you like, play a game, draw, write, read, play with pets, exc. The urge will pass with time, so give yourself that. Stay strong, I know you can beat this!!
About an hour :(
An hour is a great start @helpfulChestnut2736 !! After that hour you can make it to one day. Then two. Then three, exc. Just take it one day at a time. Anytime without self harm is an accomplishment! Stay strong, we're here if you need to talk!
I haven't touched a blade since May 2015 back after I ended up in hospital. I relapsed alot but never cut, I did it for my Mum.
@lucysrecovery02 it's good that you haven't cut in a while, but still self harming is bad! Can you do something instead of that? Try squeezing ice cubes or flicking yourself gently with a rubber band. Those bring the same pain, but they're not considered self harm. And they also help a lot of people stop. I hope they will help you, even if it's just a little bit. I hope you the best, stay strong!
Long enough to lose count..
@lovingPine3496 That's the goal :)
Only 4 days clean as of day. I had a relapse in September after 6 months clean and it's been difficult ever since but I am trying to be confident that I will be better this year.
@likestars Four days is still really good. I had a relapse when I was a month clean and now I'm back at a week. You just have to keep working towards it. I believe in you.
