how long have you been self harm free? (possible trigger warning: SH)
I've seen this sort of thing on a couple of other sites.
It's to put your accomplishments, relapses or anything you want it to be
you could post every day if you need to or once a month, no accomplishments too small.
and if you relapse, you are strong. and you can do this.
I will try get back to as many people as I can and if you need message me on here.
if this doesn't work oh well, but id like to see it work.
Hope you are liking all the cute cat pictures! [v] here is your next clue, where can you introduce yourself if you're new to the subcommunity this month?
One year \○/
@MakeArtNotWar That's great! I'm proud of you! Keep up the FANTASTIC work!
For 6 years
And now I can't stand the thought of getting hurt never mind hurting myself.
I wouldn't say I love myself 100% but I have learned the value of myself. And not hurting myself feels like a gift.
Life still gets hard, my problems are a lot bigger than when I was younger but I just got stronger ..
To everyone still struggling with this, I just want you to know that you are amazing and beautiful and you will get through this, you're stronger than you might believe..
@anchoredwithhope Hello, I'm really happy that you managed to conquer this! YAY I'm really proud of you! And thanks for sharing your story with our members and guests who come on here to see a live example of someone walking out of self-harming! (I really appreciate it)
@YayyySphere thank you! That really means a lot to me! It's not easy at all but I just want to give people a little ray of hope because I know what it feels like. It's really hard and seems like an endless cycle but there's always hope!
Literally about a week and I was clean since like February, I'm pretty disappointed in myself cause now I'm just getting the urge to do it again and its so frustrating.
@coldxweather Yeah, I understand that it can be frustrating- and it's normal to feel the urge to do it again. But the more important thing is to fight the urge and resist the temptations. I believe in you! And I'm really proud of you to be able to resist self-harming for 8 months+! Slowly, but surely, you can walk out of this!
Thanks for saying this and all, but honestly everything has just been a lot worse lately.
A year and 7 months even though I've had many temptations.
@crazymeezy a year and seven months is fantastic! There's always going to be temptations but all that matters is that you're staying strong despite everything going on. I believe you can beat this because you are strong!
It will be 3 weeks on Monday, yay ^.^
@Alicattt Keep up the good work! You'll be able to walk out of this!
41 days. I was free for over two years before that, and had no urges for the same amount of time.
@crimsonOwl9644 Aww, it's okay, we all have bad days sometimes. I'm really glad that you managed to hold it for 2 years+, I believe you can go longer this time! Don't be discouraged by this, and continue the great work you've been doing for the past 2 years!
@crimsonowl9644 Ah, I'm very sorry, I don't know why I've typed 2 years until I've posted it, pardon me Nevertheless, 41 days is great job, and don't be discouraged by this setback. You'll walk out of this, slowly, but surely! I believe in you!
About 2months
That's fantastic, @cyanHuman8442. You're doing so well. Keep it up! :)
I haven't cut for 2 months but lately it's been so hard to keep fighting the temptation not to sure if I can go much longer. This is my first time to try and quit :/
That tempetation is so strong, isn't it @courageousTurtle6735, but do you know what? You're beating it. You're doing it. You're stronger. Keep it going :)
It's been just a few hours and I want to do it again. Right now if I cut too deep.i don't think I would care.
@jewelsashes
It's tough to get through those times. Keep strong jewel!
