#OneWordMotivation- Strength
Hello, everyone! We are back with another chapter of the series #OneWordMotivation, where every week will have a new word, how ti relates to self-harm recovery and a quote or two to go alongside it. This week's word is:
Strength.
Definition: According to Google, 'strength' means "the capacity of an object or substance to withstand great force or pressure".
How it relates to SHR: Choosing recovery is one of the strongest, bravest things you could ever do. It means actively telling your mind that you're taking back control. It means actively going against the grain and pulling away from what has comforted you for so long, becasue you know you deserve better. Choosing recovery is strength. Undeniable strength and willpower.
Quotes: "Strength grows in the moments when you think you can't go on but you keep going anyway". -Unknown
"Grow through what you go through". -Tyrese Gibson
What does STRENGTH mean to YOU?

Hello!
I love this idea! Thank you for sharing :)
@rebecca947
And to me, strength means the courage to keep going, even when things are tough.
What does STRENGTH mean to YOU?
It means controlling my gate and what would happen to me, but I don't do that, I'm just a receiver and a reactor.

What does STRENGTH mean to YOU?
Strength for me is choosing my emotions wisely and communicating with my peers. It is admitting when I made a mistake and waking up the next day to go on a path that is of my own !
Strength means going on though you failed, learning from mistakes
