Intro

I am new to this group and 7 cups. I am Saoirse which means “Freedom “ in Irish. I believe I was approximately 10 years old when I began self harm. I am in my 40’s. Throughout the years I have come to realize that I self harm during intense overloaded stress and when I have been fiercely betrayed. I work in a lab so I know how to hide it. It’s been ages since I have done it but the temptations heighten. I have heard of people like us but I didn’t know how common. For decades I felt I was alone. It took me a week to embrace the courage and admit this and to join this group.
