...See more I know you all understand. It’s so difficult to even fathom or attempt to explain to anyone what we struggle with and endure. I am also beyond the point of wanting to help people anymore. Am tired of being used. Moments like these remind me of my sense of worth. The urge to sh is amplifying.

...See more I am new to this group and 7 cups. I am Saoirse which means “Freedom “ in Irish. I believe I was approximately 10 years old when I began self harm. I am in my 40’s. Throughout the years I have come to realize that I self harm during intense overloaded stress and when I have been fiercely betrayed. I work in a lab so I know how to hide it. It’s been ages since I have done it but the temptations heighten. I have heard of people like us but I didn’t know how common. For decades I felt I was alone. It took me a week to embrace the courage and admit this and to join this group.
