for this week's distraction post I figure we can chat about superheroes!
most of us imagine a superhero as a strong, fearless person who cares for others! you all are superheros! I believe each of you is very strong, very kind, and very determined!
but since this is an activity not a lecture, here's a fun icebreaker and question!

✨If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would go with healing and curing any disease and injury. With this superpower, a swift (or at least, swifter than what is current) end could be put to the ongoing pandemic, for instance. I could also use it to help some loved ones who have terminal illnesses as well; I hate seeing how they're suffering from an illness that they never deserved.
✨What do you think of when you picture a superhero?
I think of someone who is resilient, kind, helpful, and a problem-solver. Their physical appearance can come in many forms: they might be the university janitor who whistles as he mops the tile floors, the girl who smiles shyly as she sells flowers on the sidewalk, the young man who offers to carry your groceries...you might not expect them to appear all that fantastic, but they really are. Perhaps that's the best part about it; anyone could be a superhero.
