1. What does self-care mean to you?
Simple: Taking care of one self. But not just the big things like going to a amusement park, or going to the cinema with friends. Or not hurting yourself with SH. It's small stuff like taking a bath, eating when hungry, going for a walk or not punishing yourself for other's mistakes. Stuff like that is more important than the bigger things, even if it seems like everyone does it.
Bc they don't. I don't. I don't eat when hungry. I would actually rather starv for hours, if that made me skinnier. I would starv for days, if that made me pretty or good enough. The strength in self-care is to tell yourself, every minute of the day if necessary, that you are ok as you are. That you are good enough. And to eat your God damn dinner, when you are supposed to (sorry if this comes of poem-ish, but I have listent to Spoke Word all day).
2. Why do you think self-care is important?
Bc you have to take care of yourself, especially if you are an adult, bc then nobody will do it for you. You have to learn how to do it yourself, and you have to learn it fast. Yes your parents are sweet, and yes you have good friends, but only you know what you need. And only you can help you.
3. What are two ways in which you can self-care today?
I got out of bed early, even if I wanted to stay there all day (depression yaaay). And I have eaten something today, so that's well... something I guess?

1. What does self-care mean to you?
Self-care means everything to me! It means prioritizing yourself for some time out of the day to re-charge your own emotional battery and also to just take a break in general :)
2. Why do you think self-care is important?
I think self-care is important because it means taking time for ourselves (something we don't do often) to do things we enjoy and feel good from it. I also think it's important to recharge our emotional battery so we continue on with our day and continue with listening too (as a listener).
3. What are two ways in which you can self-care today?
I've already journaled some very stressful thoughts earlier this morning but I'm planning to go take a walk later or take a nap because I'm feeling tired:) I think this is self-care because I'm taking time away from my busy day to recharge and meeting my own emotional needs. :)
