I'm not sure. I'm probably doing it now. I'm no good at anything else. And I don't mean to say I'm good at this though.

1. hey hey! I am doing pretty well thanks. I have been trying this new thing, so there is this "idol" from an anime that I really look up to. i watched this anime when i was maybe 10 or 11, and now they are making a remake! Super excited, its called fruits basket. anyway (this is the only anime i watch so i dont know much about animes in generallll haha oops) The main character is tohru, and she is the most kind, selfless person ever. you may know my dad took my phone and tomorrow will be my 3 week mark of not having it. i have been taking this time to improve. this new strategy i have been doing is "what would tohru do?" and it seems to be working super well!!
2. Hmm I can try to talk a bit more in class, it might be hard to connect with others because of not having my phone and corona haha.
3. Surprisingly I have never been real camping! I went beach camping once though!! it was super fun!

Mary-kate!! <3 I haven't seen you in so long 🥺 I didn't know that you were into anime? :o That character, Tohru, reminds me of you, so I'm sure your "what would tohru do" game is easy since you're always being an amazing protagonist character :) Coronavirus definitely makes it hard, but I do try and utilize the zoom chat whenever possible for online school! I've never been camping either heheh

1) i really miss writing music regularly, but I've been way too fatigued to do anything. I've napped as soon as I've got home from work all week.
2) i should probably schedule some sort of hangout with my coworkers. schedules are a bit up in the air atm, but hopefully a few people know what hours they'll be working
3) indoor camping is best camping. i need my heater

Hi Creative! <3 Aww I'm sorry that you haven't been able to do anything and write music. It sounds like you've been really tired! I hope you get some rest from work soon, although I know it's hard these days when there is always so much going on <3 Scheduling a safe and socially distant hangout with coworkers sounds like a great idea and I hope you have fun with that if you go forward with that! I've never been indoor camping before but I think that would be the best camping option for me since I am often scared of colder weather :o

Hey! Normal. Feeling behind and anxious. But I am pleasantly suprised cos I ate a lot of stuff I apparently have food intolerances to last night and I don't feel that bad today physically at all!
I have to do some CBT tracking of my thoughts and feelings for therapy. I'm just starting out with CBT. Therapy has been all over the place thb - some DBT skill work, some EMDR, a lot of me just venting, being overwhelmed and being a whiney little bitch... lol. Or that's how I feel anyway. I feel like it never really settled down to one thing where I can track consistent progress.
Do other people have clinicians who apply one method / protocol / whatever you call it, consistently? Or is that degree of flexibility / fluidity normal? She's like "what would be most helpful for you?" I'm like - Umm, I don't know. What do I need. I'm not the therapist.
I really like her, and I think she has a lot of common sense, and is balanced. I just feel like it hasn't settled down yet to be one thing where I can actually do some consistent work and see some results. Does that make sense? I am hopeful that this CBT stuff will help. And nervous that it won't...

I'm plenty connected. I hope I can see one of my friends tonight who is visiting from another State. I also hope he will tell me his plans, so I don't lose a bunch of work time I planned on having by his just turning up.

We used to go to camping grounds and play folk music and do folk dances and other stuff in the Summer. Those were such happy times for me. To look back on... Actually, if memory serves I was bitterly depressed, confused, lost, self-medicating, and full of teenage and existential angst in reality. But I have happy memories shining out from it in retrospect... lol.

Hi Morday! <3 Your feelings and thoughts about CBT is valid. More importantly, I think starting any path (or paths) of treatment can be really nerve-wracking at times and can lead us feeling anxious about what we're heading towards in our lives. Her question is a question that my therapist has asked me as well to ask what I need at the moment, but your own therapist might not have the same intention or implication that mine did :) I don't quite know the answer to your question about the different treatments that therapists practice with clients, but I imagine it really depends on the client and I hope you can ask your therapist that question the next time you all get to talk! I hope your plans with your friends go well and your teenage years don't have to be a dichotomy between one angsty side or the other :) *hugs* proud of you!
1) Was doing well before I made things worse in an attempt to make them better. People for real wonder why I never say anything to anyone... I guess my social skills are gone because people sure seem to misunderstand what I say. And then I had to go in and explain myself which seemed to just make it worse. So, I'm tired. I'm tired of myself, of others at my school, of people who say 'I'm not upset' but clearly are. I'm tired of trying to explain myself and make sure people understand me, which ironically is what the argument was about. If I just had left it alone, I wouldn't be upset. Thankfully that upset is falling away as I realize in the grand scheme of things, this person doesn't matter because they won't be in my life beyond college.
2) I don't feel like connecting with others today tbh. One person is enough to ruin my mood on connection for the rest of the day.
3) I don't camp but if I had to... I imagine camping grounds

Hi lex <3 I'm sorry that you had a hard time that day with trying to communicate with someone what you were feeling and that the event sorta hit you back negatively :( attempts to communicate and make tense terms better are always a positive win for you for trying. And in that I mean that you did your best to communicate with the people you were talking to and whatever happens after that isn't completely your fault. Other people also have a responsibility here and I'm proud of you for trying your best <3 I recognize that it's hard to come back from these moments where others seem to deliberately misunderstand us though, I wish you best of luck with coping and keeping in mind that the person you argued with isn't too significant in the long run seems like a good idea :)
