It has been so long! I have recently returned from the longest break I’ve taken in a while! So today’s check in is going to be about taking care of yourselves! Just a heads up! you might have noticed this post isnt in pink like normal! this is just a glitch <3
There are so many ways to take care of yourself, eating healthy foods, exercise, sleeping, taking care of our mental health, and so much more! I find that when life gets stressful, a long off day where I do nothing but things *i* want to do can be so beneficial! Sometimes just resting can be the best thing! Now onto our questions!

I’ve never felt as bad as I have lately. It’s really hard to deal with. It’s been constant for a few days and I’m worried it may not get better

I just don’t feel that way anymore. I know people mean well but I am alone. I think it really got too big for me. When I hear that I’m strong to have made it through so much loss and trauma, it makes me want to scream “just because I’m alive doesn’t mean I made it through !!” If I’m this depressed, that’s not being strong. I’ve searched so long and tried so much but there are not always answers or solutions. Sometimes some people lose.
Warning: specific self-harm story/explanation. I have been under a lot of stress recently from the same ocd fears that are basically controlling my life. I have been responding to it more and more by deliberately eating things that are bad for me, ie poisoning myself, specifically by trying to get my sodium level up as high as I can to try to bring about a stroke or heart attack or something equally dangerous. I know it’s bad but it’s the only way I know how to cope and still feel I retain some power over the situation. Ie you want to crap all over my life, I’ll show you, by hurting myself.
I'm going to be honest with myself and say I haven't been doing the greatest. I haven't hit my lowest point, but I'm not even remotely close to my highest point. I haven't been feeling any real emotion lately and if I have it's just temporary. My mom still says I need to stop biting my nails, I just come back and say it's either I stop biting my nails or I keep scratching myself which one would you rather have. I've been contemplating lately if my life really matters. I haven't really taken care of myself lately, but normally I just drink water, do a little bit of skin care, and have some healthy food. I consider a day of talking to my friends, playing games, watching movies, and just hanging out as a relaxing day.
