why i get shamed and insulted for being compassionate as a man? i feel very insecure and bad now
my friends and batchmates says its feminine to be compassionate and empathetic men were supposed to be heartless and violent i feel bad and very upset idk what to do

Many would tell you the exact opposite ... i know many  empathetic men it is possible to be both but really you do not need to change or feel bad because anyone else does not understand you.... I think we are too hard on ourselves trying to be something for others instead of true to ourselves.
