Embarrasment of past relationships
Between the ages of 18 and 21 I was humiliated and disrespected men. At the age of 24, men still call me ugly and think less of me. I’m trying my hardest to stop thinking of the past and stop letting they way they’ve treated me determine my worth, but it’s very difficult.

Their disrespect has absolutely nothing to do with you. Let me repeat, their disrespect has absolutely nothing to do with you. From a logic perspective, beauty is subjective so everyone has different definitions of it; because people have different definitions, you cannot take one or a few comments to heart that they are factual, because they are an opinion not a fact. What matters is that you truly believe and know that you are gorgeous and worthy. I am sorry that you have had such negative experiences where people have been so disrespectful to you. You do not deserve to be treated to and spoken to like that. Do not take their baseless words to heart. Really visualize their meaningless comments as bubbles flying by in the air past your head.
Some advice possibly; pretend to be super confident and the most gorgeous person even if you do not feel it. Truly act as if you're a "model" known for your beauty. Eventually, you will start to believe it and people will be able to "smell" the confidence off of you and won't dare to mess with you in the first place.

@oliveWatermelon9763 🙁 I'm sorry sweetie people can be very cruel😥 it's hard to get back self esteem when people call you names🙁 I struggle with this too 🙁 if people only knew how deeply words can cut, maybe then they'd be more careful with them.
