@lilfox2406 Honey, do you mean a review of a Listener with whom you have had a conversation, or some other kind of review? That info would be important to determine how to correctly answer your inquiry.

Let us know, and I am sure myself or someone wll respond ASAP.

Thanks for the question, regardless. :)

@lilfox2406 Hi again. The easiest way I ever found to do it was by utilizing the offered review process when I reached the end of my chat with my Listener. When you click onto the button that says something like "Click this button after your chat," you will be allowed to leave a review of the Listener with the option of leaving a basic "how many stars" type review, but also typing in a specific reaction to how the Listener may or may not have helped you.

I have only done this twice recently, so I am not entirely sure how helpful that information is. I don't frankly know if there is a way to do that after you have moved on from the 1-1. I wish I could be more helpful there. I will tag others that may have that answer. In the meantime, if it might be feasible to do this (if you had a positive experience with the Listener(s) you want to review), why not engage in another quick interaction with them, and leave a review once that convo has ended? Just a thought.

@Anomalia (the Light of the Forums, as well as everywhere else!)

Anyone know better than me here? I sure hope so. ;)

@lilfox2406 You are using a listener account. I think you need to be using your member account to write a review.

@lilfox2406

Reviews are screened for appropriateness by a team. If they are positive, they get posted. I'm not sure who the contact is if you have more questions, hopefully someone else will chime in.

Hi there! You can leave a review for a listener at the end of the chat by clicking on the star at the top right hand corner of the chat box. It should also automatically pop up for you when the end live chat button is pressed. After leaving the review, you might go to the listener's profile and realise that your review isn't displayed there (yet!) ... but that is only because it takes some time for listeners on the review approval team to sort through all the reviews, and approve the positive ones that are public profile display worthy. Written reviews fall into three categories : positive, unconstructive (doesn't say anything about the chat or the listener) and feedback reviews (member provides information about how the chat went for them and their experience with the listener). So only reviews that fall in the first category are approved and then viewable on the listener's profile. There are two kinds of feedback reviews : coaching moment reviews and red flag offenses. There are a variety of issues possibly encountered in a chat (e.g advice giving, slow response time, lack of empathy etc) and then detailed in a review that can lead to a coaching email being sent to the listener detailing that they need to improve on ___ . Second ... red flag offenses constitute a) abusive/sexual chat, b) underage , c) continually sharing contact information ... if there evidence of one (or more) red flag offenses on the listener's part in a review, then the listener will receive an email and have their account deactivated. This is for the safety of all members/guests as well as other listeners. The listener does have the option of submitting an account review request if they felt the review was false and intentionally malicious.

Also, for members, you should get a confirmation email sent if your positive review got published, a thank you email or something. And if it was not published, because it fell under the other categories, there should also be another kind of confirmation email of some sort sent to you, something like "Thank you for reporting ___" and stating that the necessary quality control action has been taken etc.

So basically there is a detailed review flagging process in place and a dedicated, trusted team that sifts through it all. All reviews are taken really seriously and your feedback matters a great deal ♥︎ There is a post about this on the listener side, but not on the member side ... hmm, which is interesting because this information should be available to members as well. You deserve to know what happens to the reviews you write and given some evidence or reassurance that the necessary action is being taken.

Hey, you can log into a member or be on a guest account to review a listener who you are speaking with as only members can leave a review on a listener's profile. There will be a star on the top right corner on a browser, or click the profile picture if on the app :)

In terms of a listener to listener review, you can use a listener form to report a listener or you can do a positive shout out in a forum, if you mean leaving a comment for a listener you interacted with on a listener account.

I hope that helps! <3

So, my son who was 12 years old at the time, with out my knowledge joined up to the 7 cups website, my son has ADHD and Austim and attends a special needs school, he has the emothional age of 8 year old, so he joined 7 cups wanting to talk about how alone he felt in the world, how he has no friends, it was here that a man befreinded him and this man, he is a peadophile and he groomed my son, this site is dangerous, the listeners are not vetted, anyone can be a listener, the effects tihs has had on my son are horrific, he now has a twisted sense of reality, and his first sexual experiance has been as dark as can be which has hurt him and effected him in a very dark and negative way, I think you need to protect the children that use this site, and anyone who asks a child to speak away from this site should be banned from using the site. You all need to know what this site is being used for, it is not innocent, it is not A SAFE PLACE.

@kameron123

This site is for those 13 and up only and those under the age of 18 are supposed to have guardian/parental permission. Sharing offsite contact is not allowed either. People do get their accounts suspended/banned depending on the offense. Unfortunately it's impossible to ensure everyone is following the rules.
