how do i leave a review??
i'm so confused how people leave reviews for listeners! someone please help they supported me so much i really want to leave a reply but i don't know how ðŸ˜
Hiya @sofiacarsonfan27 welcome to the community. Its so good to hear you've had a great experience with listeners here and it's so sweet of you to want to leave them reviews.Â
You can write both positive and constructive feedback, based on the honest chat experience you have. It is immensely impactful to have members share their feedback.
Are you currently using the app or the website? I do think the chat screen layout option is similar, so see if you can find the ellipses or three dots on the chat screen window? When you click on it, you'll be able to select the review/rating option from the drop down menu.Â
For sharing positive words and complimenting your listeners (or fellow members and even yourself) you're welcome to make use of the Peer Appreciation Form as well-Â https://tinyurl.com/PeerAppreciation
More information about the program here:Â https://www.7cups.com/forum/gratitude/AppreciationProgram_2310/PeerAppreciationProgram_262230/
I hope you continue to have fantastic experiences here!💛
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou I am very sorry for chiming in so suddenly, I figured I could perhaps ask the same question as the original poster since I am experiencing the same issue. I am on the website right now and while I did look for the 3-dots on the upper right corner of the chat, I could not find an option to rate or leave a review amongst the ones in the drop down.Â
Could I ask for any guidance? Thank you in advance!Â
@YueLeblanc01 If the star icon isn't there to rate, you need to click end chat (power icon) and that brings it up.
@AffyAvo Thank you for your guidance on the matter, I was actually concerned that choosing that option could remove the conversation from my Inbox, since I would very much like to resume the conversation with my listener at some point when we're available as they have been of great help as my journey here begins.
I will, however, give it a try. Thank you again for taking the time to reply. :)
@YueLeblanc01 The chat will stick around for a while as long as you or the listener don't use the delete option.Â
@AffyAvo I very much appreciate your guidance, sorry for the numerous questions. Still learning my way around the site. Have a wonderful day/night!Â
@YueLeblanc01 Questions are always welcomed!
Needing to use the end chat is a bit confusing, when that updated occurred it took me a little bit to figure it out and I've been here for years.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CL9Yu_6zixlapOjdrhCgKLy9JN5wY3HWdrGH7PIO2WI/edit#heading=h.p2ah3g8frtbm is a great for getting started here, but even the long timers will come across things they were unaware of!
@AffyAvo my most sincere apologies for reaching out with yet another question, it is certainly not my intention to become a bother. Could I please ask if there happens to be a way to Edit our forum posts, once they have been posted? I could not find any information about it, aside from a 2015 post.Â
I am unsure if the response there is still accurate, so I rather checking.
@YueLeblanc01 Questions are welcome! Most people cannot edit their forum posts, people on the forum team can.
You can flag your post, pick other in the drop down and type in what you want changed, PM a community mentor, or in the community where it is placed you can look at the community mentors/community mentor leaders (About section lists the leaders) and reach out to one of them.
There's also a form you can use -Â https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSePF0i2FXJndT8X0SlZAzqaTawHaBvc_H8yUGeoH4chbm5tPg/viewform
@AffyAvo Thank you so very much! I've said it before but, I truly am grateful for your guidance. I am curious by nature and tend to ask a lot, thank you for being so patient and nice to me. 😊
