Listener to listener

openHeart76 March 5th, 2015

I'm not certain what the protocol is on another listener approaching another listener for help, but I do not like that I don't have the option as I do with members to end the chat when I feel it needs to end. I had a really strange experience where I had a listener that was almost as bad as my neediest member. This is also a problem when, as a listener, I have members I'm already working with. Why can't there be a "knock knock" button and an "end this conversation" button as well?

Generally the policy is that if a listener needs support related to listening, they can chat with a peer support. If it's for personal issues unrelated to listening, they are asked to log out of their listener account and log in as a member.

There doesn't seem to be a way to "end" a chat with another listener, so it's up to you to manage. It could be as simple as letting them know that you're busy with member chats at the moment, and will get back to them ASAP.
