How do I know if doing an internship is right for me?
I was thinking of becoming more active on here on my listener account, and then I heard of this internship thing. I think it sounds really cool, but I'm currently in uni for biological sciences, so it wouldn't count as a practicum or anything like that for me. I'd love to do an internship for volunteer experience, but I feel that the requirements may be too much to balance along with full time school.. I also feel like most other interns are doing it for a practicum, so they have considerably more time to dedicate to listening.
Basically, can anyone with internship experience tell me how overwhelming/how much work it really is? Has anyone done it just to volunteer, and not for a practicum?
Hi @Seraphena, I would invite you to read those post for more informations on the internship program: https://www.7cups.com/forum/ListenersOnlyForums_38/InternshipsandPracticals_92/InternshipFeelingLost_28819/ and this category in general: https://www.7cups.com/forum/ListenersOnlyForums_38/InternshipsandPracticals_92/
so you can see more what it is about, if it is interesting for you and everything :)
