Ending a conversation

When a listener ends a conversation are they taught they should make sure the listener is alright before they exit? While it is a possibility thelisteners internet went out, my conversation with this specific listener just stopped and Iwas told they weren't available no-more but there was no "have a good night" or anything signifying they were leaving. I feel like this could be bad for the person in need.

Hi @AJisthename ! A listener is always suppose to end the conversation politely. Loss of internet connection can be one of the reasons behind no formal good byes.
Sometimes the listener may have some other urgent work etc due to which they may have to leave mid way. They are suppose to apologize and say good bye when they do so.
