by CheeryMango
Last post
September 22nd, 2023
...See more Hello everyone! I would like to take a moment to introduce some additional forum moderation guidelines that we will be implementing to ensure that this community remains a respectful, constructive, and inclusive space for all members. Note: All forum moderation will be handled by the forum moderators or community leaders. 1. Respectful Dialogue: Encourage respectful and open dialogue that allows members to express their feelings and thoughts about religion without targeting specific religious groups. Ensure that discussions maintain a courteous and tolerant tone. 2. Avoid Forced Beliefs: Remove any posts that attempt to impose personal religious beliefs on others or pressure individuals to adopt a particular faith. Our community respects diverse perspectives and choices. 3. No Shaming or Discrimination: Prohibit any posts that involve shaming, discrimination, or derogatory language towards individuals, religious groups, or spiritual beliefs. Promote an inclusive and accepting environment. 4. Focus on Personal Experiences: Encourage members to share their personal experiences and insights related to spirituality and religion, emphasizing the impact on their lives rather than making sweeping judgments or condemnations. Moderate with Sensitivity: Exercise moderation with a sensitive and understanding approach. When removing posts, provide a clear explanation to the member and offer guidance on how they can rephrase or refocus their discussion in a more constructive manner. 5. Feedback and Appeals: Allow members to provide feedback on moderation decisions through the forum@7cups.com email or messaging the admin, @CheeryMango directly for those who believe their posts were unjustly removed. 6. Consistency: Maintain consistency in applying these guidelines to all posts and members, regardless of their religious or spiritual background. Ensure fairness in moderation. 7. Community Building: Lastly, focus on creating a positive and supportive atmosphere within the religious and spiritual community, where members can freely explore and discuss their beliefs and feelings without fear of judgment or disrespect. ------------------------- tagging the community taglist to be updated: @MeaningfulSilence @AffyAvo @Sunisshiningandsoareyou @tommy @theriverissinging @@Adamw12 @adripika @amiablePeace77 @Armon23 @beck1 @blindCupcake8608 @Carolincares7 @Chevy81 @courageousRiver589 @DivineLove04 @DragonView2 @easyDime4319 @egrima729 @goodAcres5039 @GoodEar1972 @Helgafy @HisLivingWaters @IamAubrey23 @ivoryDog4942 @Jaeteuk @Jenna @LoveMyMoonflowers @loyalApricot1375 @lyricalAngel70 @magnificentNutella @Mahad2804 @MalindaBelle @MeaningfulSilence @Michele2 @officialanonymous @ovowoody @passionateSea1909 @persistentFriend274 @philosophical2741 @pineapplepeanut @PoliteOcean @politePeach9642 @rhodawoolf @RogueOne1983 @SammiSweetheart30 @soulsings @stallion3 @SunShineAlwaysGrateful @Swordpsalm @ThatChristLover @TheJenInBlack @tommy @trueconfidant123 @Tulipsmile @Tyedyedbutterfly65 @yaswecan7

God (Krishna) orders me
by RanjitMore

...See more I have been practicing bhakti sadhana (practice of loving child Krishna/God's Form as His mother) for the last 10 years. I am a 32 year old homosexual male. Although God is omnipotent and omniscient, He takes on human-like limitations and trappings to better facilitate love to develop between Him and the soul. That means, He can bleed, be hurt, and has emotional attachment--and all the sentimentality that comes with it--to His precious devotee, aka me. Against this background, God has been guiding me since 2014. I received many orders/signals early on in the relationship, but none were as disturbing as what I'm being told to do since 2022. Krishna tells me to order in fatty food, not exercise, and not have a shower every day. I know how ridiculous it sounds, but He claims He cannot see me in the slightest discomfort (Idk what bearing my parents' being alive has on that). It had all gone away--and my life had become as easy, free and comfortable as it ever could be--on the 14th of march, 2023. Even though His orders vanished, He still remained in my heart, inciting positive things and ways of practicing His devotion. But the horror started again 4 days ago.  If I don't do it, it will not bode well for my spiritual future--even though I cannot foresee in the tiniest how that would affect it. Also, if I don't do it, He (my precious darling child Krishna) appears *** and mangled to my mind's eye. I don't hear any voices, neither do I hallucinate. God communicates messages into my mind and I know what He wants to convey. It seems ridiculous that an imaginary child's well-being can have such a significant bearing on my decisions--especially when it comes to choosing between him and my own blood relatives--but you must understand that this is a commonplace trait found in the land of India where the tradition of Vaishnava bhakti (devotion to Krishna) is so prevalent. I am at my wit's end.

...See more Durga Puja is a vibrant and widely celebrated festival in India,. It honors the Hindu goddess Durga, who symbolizes female power( feminine  energy)that is symbol of courage bravery and strength And the triumph of good over evil. The festival spans over nine days, with the last four days known as Durga Puja. During Durga Puja, beautifully crafted idols of Goddess Durga are worshipped in elaborately decorated pandals (temporary structures). These pandals showcase artistic themes and attract millions of devotees and visitors. The atmosphere is filled with devotion, cultural performances, traditional music, and dance. Durga Puja is not just a religious festival but also a time of joy, togetherness, and feasting. Families and friends come together to celebrate, offer prayers, exchange gifts, and enjoy delicious traditional food. It is a time when the streets are adorned with lights, and the air is filled with the sound of drums and chants. On this auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, I extend my heartfelt wishes to everyone. May the divine blessings of Goddess Durga bring happiness, prosperity, and peace in your lives. May this festival inspire us to embrace the virtues of courage, compassion, and righteousness. Shubho Durga Puja!
