Jesus is The Way, The Truth, & The Life.
God loves each and every one of you. He sent his only son to die on the cross for all of us so that we could have a personal relationship with him and be saved. Jesus came to find to you. He is calling you. All you have to do is say “Yes! Jesus you have my Yes!” If you want to know more about him please comment. By the way, I used to be on 7 cups when I was in my late teens-early 20s. I was struggling bad with anxiety, overthinking, depression, trauma, and bad behaviors. I left 7 cups and stopped logging in. I was still down in the dumps many years after but I am now okay. If you are still alive today, that is a Blessing. Disclaimer: Please do not judge me. I know some Christians can be terrible and judgmental but I am just one person and I’m not all christians. Find it in your heart to give me a chance and hear what I have to say. If you read this far, Thank You! I’m seriously here to help and offer support not just share my faith. Also it’s your choice to scroll past me or stay. Do what you gotta do. ❤️
@NotYourRegularChristian7 there is a wayi that all religions offer in different ways. I respect the Christian faith I was brought up in but also find solace in other faiths as well. I think what this Community is aiming for is to be open to all religions and I agree with that aim.
What examples in your life has yourr faith helped you overcome?
Good day to you,
Lately I have been gaining interest in the Bible, and re-creating some peace with my God, whom I'm ashamed to say I have ignored for so long. Now that I believe I have found him, I hope to receive his forgiveness as I feel as lonely as I have made him feel. A man who only asks for an hour of my weekly time and I failed to give it to him.
I would like to go and listen to him but struggle with selecting a single faith, as I don't want to belong to one specific group without first understanding why there is such a range of groups. It's confusing as to why there is Lutheran episcopal Catholic etc. without finding what caused it in the first place.
I am fully open to conversating with you about this, it's been a very strong monument of my life as of the last year.
Hello @dandrisco,
Being a Christian in the Orthodox denomination, I understand you r struggle with the all-too-human aspect of diverse groups not entirely unified in our Christianity. What is beautiful and amazing, though, is that despite time (2000 years) and distance and cultures and language, we all share the same book of guidance and good news - the Bible. Translated into every language of our world and surviving time and persecution, it is the Bible and not our own thoughts, customs and traditions that hold us together in our love of Christ, who loves each of us without bounds.
A monk once told me that the more one reads the scriptures, the more one feels like studying them further and I’ve noticed this is true. I now follow a very light Bible plan that leads me to reading a verse and some accompanying texts every morning and find joy and strength in this for the day.
My son recently asked me, what makes Christianity “better” than other age-old religions? My first response is that it is not for us to compare, judge or impose our faith. That aside, the beauty of Christianity is that our God loves us so much, that he sent his only dear Son down to us to re-establish a filial, loving relationship with each of us personally and taught us this through his words. He went as far as to die for us, so that this relationship may continue with him, past death, unto eternity. His life and suffering on the cross showed us how to obey through all hardship, even to the point of feeling abandoned. Christ, in His last moments questioned His own father but did not give up His love and obedience to Him. And in return He was raised from the dead and now sits at the right side of His Father.
all this to say that what is so beautiful in our faith is that our God loves each one of us (He knows how many hairs you have on your head) and has shared in our earthly difficulties Himself to show us this. Christ actively seeks to be our friend
‘Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
so enjoy the scriptures and join the groups in support of that faith that you share and it will grow within you. Christ is your guide. He is the Truth and the Way and will take you there where you will grow spiritually. Pray for this guidance and have faith - you are accompanied in your search.
i hope this is not too long an answer and is helpful.
Peace in Christ

Good day to you and apologies for this lengthy message,
Thank you for your response, it has given me some peace of mind to my questions. I find myself frequent local churches reading the scriptures on their billboards but have been struggling with showing face indoors. A good friend of mine, who was raised through the religious schooling, was the only one who stepped up during my awakening to the calls from God I have been receiving.
She was the only one who noticed the things happening to me that everybody else would laugh at. These strange occurrences, or Omens as I refer to them as, were so frequent I could not ignore them. During the first visit to a church, which I believe was a Roman Catholic denomination, the scriptures read that morning were received accordingly.
I found myself shedding tears as the words were spoken, but also found myself connecting things that I seen with experiences and knowledge that I gained beforehand. I read a self help book the year prior that directly correlated with the main subject of The Bible unknowingly.
I read this book after being two years sober from alcohol addiction. Once the book was finished I found myself feeling alone, as everyone around me, including my wife, were so consumed by their phones or computers that they became emotionless. For a full year, day in and day out, I would isolate myself from everyone and weep uncontrollably.
I am guilty of the same consumption of these devices prior to reading this book, but once I was done reading I no longer enjoyed the idea of them. A Nintendo quote would become a big reality check to me, "all progress not saved will be lost".
I learned in my awakening that these devices that I, as well as many others, have created a legacy on are only temporary. If they ceased to exist, many people would find themselves losing all of their progress not saved in the flesh worlds game of life forever.
I began to encourage my immediate companions to learn how to live without these devices, as well as a few people on this app, by learning a physical hobby they enjoy personally. Not doing it for financial gain reasons but as a way to express their inner beings. I digress.
This self help book, which from my learning is frowned upon by a few religious groups, brought me my God and the callings of Christ. Now, I enjoy reading a morning and nightly scripture from The Bible and have read only two sections that resonated to me personally. Those two sections were James and Revelations, with Revelations strangely being the section that I have had knowledge on since memories began and without ever reading it beforehand. I will share my morning prayer with all,
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Hey bro God bless you. Keep spreading the Gospel
