what to do when your partner is losing interest?

My partner of 2+ years has lost considerable interest in me and I don't what to do. I'm trying my best to talk things out with him but I don't know what more to do. He thinks he wants to break up with me but isn't 100% sure. Part of that is because he is losing interest in me and generally feels insecure about our future. He's mentioned some other possible reasons for breaking up but this one is the most troubling because I have no control. Any advice or similiar situations?

p.s. yes, I do really love him. He's been saying recently that I love him more than he loves me. I don't want to give up on us because I think we could have an amazing future, and he used to want it, too.

Hi! I am sorry to hear that you are going through this emotional disconnection. I am having the same issue with my wife (I guess it does not matter the level of the relationship).

My advice, from my own perspective is that, sometimes the relationship gets boring if you are doing the same things over and over again. If you change what you are currently doing, building a stronger relationship, then he might feel more excited about the relationship again. I am not a specialist in relationship but I am sharing what it has been an issue on my own mariage.
