Dear J,

Its been a year. I hope your 40th year on this earth was better than your 39th.

I know youve been suffering for over 30 years. I know the things your father did to you and your mother when she was alive, and I hope that one day that proper justice for his actions will prevail in this situation.

I regret not calling the abuse hotline for our state to report him when you told me the things he did to you. I know now what I didnt know then.

I hope you are in a position where you are receiving care like I am, and coming to terms and peace with your trauma.

Im sorry that we werent healthy.

I made a mistake in my life too.

As always I continue to wish you peace on the road ahead.
