Why is it so hard to find sex positive listeners?

Having these issues are normal. Don't give up on finding a listener to talk these through with! Here are a few things you can do;

- Find someone in Group Support

What makes you say that?
I think there are plenty of open-minded, tolerant listeners here on 7Cups.
However,
Some find it hard to tell the difference between sexuality/sex related issues on one hand, and sexting/inapropriate chat on the other :)

If you're still looking for someone to message you can always PM me. I'm a bisexual cis woman for reference and fairly open minded :)

@Deadtired2 - In addition to Peter's suggestions, which are great, it can also sometimes help to check out the Sexual Issues forum and find listeners there, who tend to be more comfortable talking about sexuality in general and are typically sex positive. In general, I think that finding listeners whose forum posts you like can be a good way to identify someone you will relate to well. Good luck! :)

@Deadtired2 Its because of that fact that its still a sort of taboo subject to talk in public or in sophisticated civil society.

@Deadtired2 I think you did good making this post, so more people could reach out to you. As one has posted here, many people had make sexuality a taboo issue, but especially in this site cause here they tend to be super idealistical on how things should be, so they get very attach to rules, instead of just trying to help. I am more open minded when it comes to talk about sex, especially cause we are anonymus here. So please feel free to pm me any time .

i understand how you feel i have things i have wanted to talk about from when i was a kid but cant find a honest person to talk to about it

I'm usually pretty open to talk about sex or sexually related issues. I mean, as long as people are respectful and keeping it real. I do not go too much into fantasy stuff, as this really isn't the place for that. However, that is a good idea to just match up listeners here in the forums. Click on their names and in their profile page send them a message. Even if they are offline they could still answer when they get back online, so this why you could avoid the random chats and go directly to the listeners who are more specialized as to what you want and need. :)
