Right or Wrong?

I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years (2 breaks in between) because he was talking about marriage and i started feeling guilty as i cannot marry him due to religion.

this was august 4th, I told him id like to be friends with him when he moves on. We started texting again after we talked at a party last week.

We both know that we wont get back together, but its evident we both still like eachother. Im worried this isnt healthy as we flirt a little.

He told me that he doesnt know if its a good or bad thing to be texting me, and im not sure either.

Opinions on this please?

It is not a matter of right or wrong but texting and hanging out with an Ex seems to make is so easy to fall right back into something, especially if no new person is on the horizon.

It may also scare off any potential dates .

Sparks may still be there and we can rekindle flame but for how long.

Thank you for the reply,

He knows there is 0 chance of us getting back together. The problem is if its right or wrong to be texting each-other as we both have feelings. I just dont want to hurt him more.

I think if there is a question of if something is right or wrong you both have to take the time to evlauate whst the both of you actually want. Sure you both know that there is no possibility of getting back together but it can still be hurtful if boundaries are not clear. You both can still care for one another but it need to be within the conf8nes of what you find comfortable.
