Overwhelmed

My boyfriend and I broke up. Since then I've been overwhelmed with emotions. One minute I feel strong and confident, identifying him as a loser who screwed up. Next minute I am sad, missing the good times and wondering why it had to end this way.

I don't see how I can date again. I put all my faith and love and trust into an individual who discarded me like trash.

I feel numb, I feel sick, I feel angry, I feel sad. I sit alone wondering who he is with. Who replaced me.

The worst feeling in the world is to feel like you're not good enough. And that's how I feel right now.

@DogAndButterfly7777 Very welcome. How are things.

@hopefulSoul17 Things are slowly getting better. I've realized that no man is worth my time if he can't put effort into a relationship. It hurts, yes, but I've got to stay strong and realize there's something better out there, and that ultimately I deserve better.

Hey, same here (kinda). I've also been through it, but I've healed a significant amount. Recognize that healing isn't linear and it's ok. I know what it means now. Sometimes, if you need to be sad and cry, just do it. Soon you'll see that the frequency at which you cry decreases (which I found very funny and quite fascinating somehow I have no idea why), but the most important thing is it's ok.

Don't worry about not being able to date again. This moment it might feel this way, but soon it will get better. Don't let this be one more thing you need to worry about. Just make sure you let yourself rest and recover, and one day you will find yourself being ready once again. You're strong and you can do this <3
