New Life

I recently moved in with my boyfriend, and I've been feeling like I've lost myself. I have no life; I used to go out frequently, but now I spend most of my days at home. I only have my boyfriend as a friend, and I don't know what to do or where to go in this area.

Additionally, I can't drive, and I have no money since I quit my job, which has made it even more challenging to explore my surroundings. I depend on my boyfriend a lot, something I've never done before. This situation has caused me to become more grumpy towards my boyfriend, even though he's done his part to make me happy. I get angry easily and don't want that to continue. I need help.

we need our independence as one person should not be our whole thing.... it is hard on us and hard on them ...

for example when they have worked all day and come home they may feel thrilled just to be in sweatpants and watch TV and we are like you are here now lets go do something.... we might get grouchy that they do not want to go do see things

can you find a PT job or thing to do and friends so your whole world is not revolving on BF?

I understand that completely but I also want to spend time with him do stuff.

I have part time work and spend time with his dogs

I try to be considerate now if he wants to watch TV then I will do something else. But not watching TV all day.

I get it i spent decades with my spouse working and we sat at home did nothing missed events and missed opportunities ... i was told someday .... someday we will do this or that someday we will  and ONLY time anything was done was when i was ready to walk away.

someday NEVER comes... he is still working... has a few health issues that we will NOT be able to do all the things we talked about but he cannot enjoy it so when i have fun / adventures i will be alone so why did i wait for him.... to end up doing things alone anyway.

I understand your feelings and disappointment. It's true. It's important to prioritize our own happiness and well-being, even if it means doing things alone.
