Let it go

Most of the times we have a habit to hold on to things that was never meant to be. We find so comfort to feel the pain of holding on rather than letting go. I have been there. The relationship was so intense that I found comfort to hold on to the pain my partner gave me than letting him go . The more I hold on to that pain, the more I feel more comfortable. I kept on holding on to a point that all those feelings and thoughts decayed.

It sounds like you have given up something that meant a lot to you but caused you lots of pain and hurt. This is a difficult thing to do, I imagine there was lots of heartache. But yes, you are right, sometimes the best we can do is to let it go.

It isn't easy letting go, but may help to remember the hot vessel analogy!

When you first touch a hot vessel and realise it's hot, you don't keep touching it again and again, it'll remain hot still, gotta stop touching it to avoid getting burnt!
