At the therapist 30 minutes after appointment time. I’m thinking my controlling wife has him on the phone. She calls before every appointment if she can get a hold of him. He’s usually spot on time. This is the longest wait I’ve ever had to wait.

At this point, you are probably done with your visit to the therapist. Do you have more information about whether your wife called him? If so, was it this call that delayed your appointment?
