Remaining friends with people you've asked out

BeingOfService December 1st, 2016

Hi everyone,

I'm a 26 year old man and I have a difficult time retaining girl friends. My biggest problem is that every girl friend I ever have I end up falling for her or being attracted to her and for one reason or another (either I start acting weird around her or things become awkward), she ends up disappearing with my life. Most of my girl friends that I've asked out I'm no longer friends with.

The only exception that comes to mind is the last girl I askled out before today. Her and I are still friends even though she told me she wansn't into me. She moved to a different state but she came by and viisied SF where II'm from and I hung out with her recently with her boyfriend and all was totally fine.

I want to hear from you. Have you been able to retain friendships with people you've made moves on and have been recejted by?

Never mind guys it's all good the girl that rejected me just offered to help me find a girlfriend. It's safe to say that our friendship will remain okay. Thanks for your support anyway, but I'm good now.

In my case... it's different for every person. Just like you. Some I have, some I haven't... but either way, the relationship has changed from the moment I asked, afterward. Some more than others.
