Telling someone how you feel..

How important is it? Does it mean more when its said in person rather than in a text message?

Telling someone how you feel can be difficult. You will know the best way to let this person know your feelings, if it is through text so be it.

@sewest82 If not for her sake, then tell her for yours. I can personally tell you it's torturous not knowing how she feels about you or where you two stand.

There is so much information lost in text messaging or email. When it comes to something serious as feelings, emotions, and critical parts of a relationship including resolving issues - texting and email has its place but this is not one of them. It's nice to think that you can convey everything you need to within a text box, but you lose a tremendous amount of non-verbal feedback that you can't get from a device.

When expressing emotions to someone or resolving issues with a partner or trying to say something important - make the effort to do so in person. It means more, people respond better to the message, and there are lesser chances of things being taken out of context or the wrong way.
