Planning for the Future

"We are so busy wathing out for whats just ahead of us that we dont take time to enjoy where we are" -Calvin and Hobbes

I know that planning for you your future with your significant other is an important task for mot relationships. knowing what you both ultimately want in the future is a great thing to know ahead of time. But there comes a time where it can be a bit of an overwhelming process. Not all couples find it difficult to work through this, and that is great for them :)

So, if you are going throught this stage right now, how are you maintaining the relationship and working your way through it together while also staying sane and well grounded? Or do you just let the relationship flow and let things happen "naturally" along the way.

@gentleDreamer76 Hi, Dreamer! This is quite an interesting thread. Planning for the future is definitely one of the most important parts of a relationship where the couple both know where they want to go together and what they want to do together. Unfortunately, the future is not always set straight and things often don't go quite as plan, but there are some beautiful, strong couples who are able to go through with their plans in the storms that life gives. For most, it may not be the case. So, I think, with your questions, it's a matter of both the options. Couples can dream of a future together but there could perhaps also let things flow naturally and just see what kind of adjustments they need to make to get to the places they want to go. After all, we can't fight the current, right? Life is unpredictable, and although that part of life is scary, it is also exciting. I do hope to see couples who are strong enough to hold onto one another. Thank you for the thread, Dreamer!
